Abstract:

Several countries in Asia practices integrated duck cum fish farming. On farm resources such as duck manure and feed waste are not adequately used the recycled in the system. Present study emphasis on duck cum fish integration at Dhakrani. Physico-chemical parameters viz. pH, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, hardness, free CO2, Nitrates, total alkalinity, phosphates were monitored. Plankton diversity and total plankton biomass were also analyzed. It was found that duck cum fish farming is important technique for production of fish.
